- You understand it correctly.
Currently, GPT support for Sparc is dead. Netgear would have to develop their own which is highly unlikely. - gmazerAspirantHello to all,
Owner of a ReadNAS NV+, i wanted to expand my current setup composed of only 2 x 1 TB HDD, by ADDING 2 ADDITIONAL 3 TB HDD. I understand that as long as i keep the 1 TB HDD inside the ReadyNAS NV+, the useable capacity of the new HDD would be limited to the smallest HDD size, that is 1TB.
My question is more trivial: is a 3TB HDD compatible with the ReadNAS NV+ (it is not the V2) ? Has there been any update from NetGear about such compatibility ? The current HCL does not include any 3TB for the NV+, only the NV+ V2 shows some 3TB models.
I am just looking for confirmation before i purchase additional HDDs, either 3TB, or 2TB only - if cannot do better -.
Thanks & regards !
