4200 LACP with GS108T

I've successfully enabled LACP between the GS108T with my Server 2012 box and confirm that the connection is 2Gbe. I tried to do the same thing for the NAS but the hour clock just keeps on going and now my NAS is no long accessible. Raidar detects only one of the ethernet port but it's still not accessible.

I simply went to the interface and select LACP and clicked apply.

  • Yah this drive was just one I had laying around. I just wanted to get comfortable with the unit before dumping new drives in here and moving data over.

Would WD Red work well in this unit?

The WD RED PRO may work, but the standard WD RED is only qualified for 5 or 8 bays by WD depending on whether you get old or new WD RED drive models. The WD RED Pro can be used in NAS units with up to 16 drive bays.

Note that if you have issues and are using disks not on the compatibility list support probably won't be able to help you.
