8TB HDD - Seagate ST8000AS0002
I know it's all theory at this point but do you think OS 6.x will support the new 8TB shingled magnetic recording drives? Retail is $260 which is certainly a bargain. Currently being shipped to Amazon...
I agree that its spec'd like a NAS drive - not like an enterprise drive. Enterprise specs would have non-recoverable read errors of 1 in 10E15.
