Adding New hard drive to ReadyNas 2304

Hi,

 

Please advise how to add new Hard drive to an empty bay of ReadyNas 2304. I tried to insert it when nas is running but nothing happened. It didnt sync to the existing raid.

 

Current drive 4tbx3  ---> New: 4tbx4

    Try selecting the drive, and then format it using the format control on the right of the screen.

      Thank you StephenB . That solved the problem. After selecting the drive and then format, it started to sync with the other drives.
