That information is coming from the UPS itself.
Try connecting the APC to a different load (lamp or something) and let it run all the way down. Then recharge it, and reconnect the NAS power to it. Not sure if that will help, but from what I've read it often does.
Though I don't think this overly-long estimate will prevent the NAS from shutting down in time when the battery runs down.
