Thank you for your response, but I invested in a TCP/IP Network Management card to eliminate the need for a pc to be on all of the time.
Can NUT be configured on the NAS to communicate with the APC Network Management card on my UPS?
Seems like this shouldn't be too difficult, even if it needs to be done throught the shell. Of course, being able to do this from Frontview would rock!
Anyhow, kinda desperate on this issue. Willing to manually configure files, if needed.
Just need some expert advice!
BTW: this is a 2200 kva ups which powers all network, including the NAS. Just would feel better if the NAS would "hear" the shutdown command anounced by the Network Management Card that is installed in the UPS.
