APC UPS Client Add-on or Widget

This is great info for me, because I've been wanting the same thing -- have the UPS provide info to more than one machine which is plugged into it. In my case, the ReadyNAS is always on, so it may as well be the one to be the UPS server and provide that info to the Windows box which is occasionally on.

So in the Power tab in Frontview, I checked "Enable network sharing of attached UPS" and hit apply. I then installed winnut15 on the Windows box, pointed it at the name of the ReadyNAS, told it to reconnect, and...

...it does connect, and sees the model name and serial number of my UPS so I know it really did connect, but the "UPS on line" box is not checked, and all the gauges read at 0. Oh well. I wonder if the problem is on the winnut side or the ReadyNAS side. The ReadyNAS has accurate statistics for the UPS, and I'm guessing that sharing that info would work to another ReadyNAS, so it's probably winnut that's confused.
