Since you're looking for a NAS that's capable of multimedia streaming I would recommend you rather have a look at the x86 ReadyNAS product line (Ultra / Pro). While being more costly they offer a lot more bang for the buck, especially if you need/want to stream HD content. The sparc based series (Duo, NV+) are fine for environments where (relatively) cheap redundant storage is required but speed isn't the prime concern and multimedia is not required. Well, that's my personal opinion.
