Can my old ReadyNAS 2100 support SMB2

Hello all,

Is there any way my old ReadyNAS 2100 v2 [X-RAID2] which is running on firmware RAIDiator 4.2.31  can be updated to use SMB2 protocol?  It is basically useless hardware to me because the ReadyNAS only supports SMB1.

  • I think with a little googling, there's a way to upgrade to readynas 6 on those devices.

that'd give you a few more features and an upgraded UI 🙂

That is true for the 2100 v2, but not the original 2100.
