Cannot read file due to (error: Permission denied)! - long file length

Question

Hi NAS TEAM,&nbsp;I am using NAS box as my file backup server . frequently i am getting error for specific user ie(Cannot read file ' name more that 260 charectors') (error: Permission denied)! .&nbsp;&nbsp;is there any option to accept more than 260 charectors in NAS.&nbsp;Kindly help us.Thanks in advance.&nbsp;Regards.&nbsp;

This is a Windows limitation, not a NAS problem.&nbsp;&nbsp;
&nbsp;
You can try mapping the folder to drive letter on the PC - that will shorten the path.&nbsp; But longer term, you need a strategy to shorten the paths.&nbsp; Often that requires flattening the folder structure to one that isn't as deep.
