Cannot setup MYSQL

I am trying to setup MSQL (Poussin APP) on my 424.   It seemed to install fine but I cannot connect to it.  It is "on" and there are no settings.  How do I cannect to it?  I tried a variety of clients and nothing seems to work.  I am using port 3306 in the cleint (in this case Data Grip).

jdbc:mysql://10.0.0.26:3306

Can anyone point me to how to start using the DB?
