It's enough to include a link to this thread in the PM along with the request.
They both do log analysis as a courtesy, which often helps resolve issues w/o needing paid support.

Hi,
I've generated the log file but can't see an option on the PM page to attach it to the PM to JohnCM_S and Marc_V. Sorry to be a numpty but how do I attach the file to the PM?
I don't know if this is relevant or just the normal status but I've just noticed that under Volumes mine is marked as Read Only see attached.

Upload the zip file to cloud storage (dropbox, google drive, onedrive, etc), and get a shared link to the zip file. Then include that link in the text of your PM.

That is very relevant, and explains why you can't write anything to the volume. Likely you will have to destroy and recreate the volume (recreating the shares and restoring the data).
But one of the causes for this is disk problems. If that's happened here, then you will want to replace the disks with issues - otherwise the volume will go read-only again, or become completely dead. The mods should be able to sort that out for you.

Thanks, message now sent with link to log file
It's looking as if I might have to start from scratch.
