Does the WD NAS have a way to set the workgroup?
Generally you want the same workgroup name on the NAS and the PCs
Also, are there spaces in the share names?
Sometimes test connection fails, but the backup job succeeds. So also try running the job anyway.

There is a way on the WD, but Im not sure where to set that on Windows. Also, the share name is one word, Movies so that is what I have entered - does it need any symbols or any slashes etc?
I have tried running the job and the error states 'Source cannot be mounted on the system'

- on Win7, you change the workgroup by right-clicking on "computer" and then choosing properties. You'll see a "change settings" link next to computer name,... Click on that, and a new window should popup, that has a "change..." button on it.
Other windows OS have similar procedures, you can google for it if you get stuck.
- There should be a / before the WD share name (e.g. /Movies).
