Dead ReadyNAS...how to recover the data

Wrong category, but community doesn't have one for "My ReadyNAS just died".   I have a very old (8 years?) ReadyNAS NV+ that just died (no power whatsoever). Model description included in the pic...

Sorry for reviving an old thread.

 

I had that issue, and by opening the NV+ I was able to plug  a normal PSU.

 

It may help someone in the future.

    The pin-out is non-standard, and this should never be done without an adapter cable.
