I was trying to save space so I started to stop a bunch of snapshots on drives that I didn't need them on then went on a deleting spree. Now frontview doesn't display any of my shares anymore. O...

Yes I do have more than 50% of the critical shares backed up to an external machine as well as cloud.
I rebooted the system last night and it all came back now the way i tshould. I'm still unable to upgrade the firmware however.

Netgear support isn't an option, since this is OS6 on legacy.
It's possible someone from Netgear might want to take a look though.
Did you have ssh enabled? If so, can you still access the NAS that way?

Everything is working fine, I can also SSH to it and login just fine. My issue now is that firmware won't update. tried both auto and manual method. been like that since 6.5.2 was release.

Hello dannieboiz,
Make sure your NAS is getting on the Internet. Check if IPv6 is enabled, disable it. Add 8.8.8.8 as DNS address in the admin page.
