Do i have a readyNAS duo V1 or V2
i have been given a 2nd hand non working ReadyNAS DUO RND2000
at first the RAIDar software would not find it, but after performing a factory reset it now finds the device on my network. however the admin page cannot be accessed.
the name is NAS 02-23-78
the status is "Corrupt Root"
the firmware field is blank.
i cant figure out if i have V1 or V2 in order to download the correct firmware.
All posts i have seen on this topic only suggest going by what the exising firmware is to determine this.
any oher way to determine the hardware revsion ( e.g. circuit board markings ? i've not opened it yet )
Can i mkae the situation worse by flashing the wrong firmware or is it ok to try both versions ?
thanks,
Glen
