Error - Trust anchor for certification path not found

I regularly remotely download files from my NAS to either my phone or tablet using the Android ReadyCloud app. Recently I have been unable to do so due to an error - "Trust anchor for certification ...

The certificate issue should be resolved on the server side, please check your Android app, it should be working now.

We are investigating this issue.

At the same time, you can use https://readycloud.netgear.com the web server to download/upload files, it's not as convenient as throught the app on a mobile device, but there is no other workaround at this moment.

  I am joining this discussion because I have the same problem and hope this entry will cause a response to me if and when corrected. I hope it will not be too long as no backup of my phone media at the moment.
