error: flush_epd_write_bio+38

My RN214 recently had this error on the LCD display,

flush_epd_write_bio+38

I rebooted (several times) but now the shares seem locked, I can't make any changes to the shares through the web interface. I can read the data but can't write (from Windows PC). Nor can I load apps.

Firmware 6.10.0 hotfix 2

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

Graham

It sounds like something is wrong, so the NAS set the volume to read-only.

Download the full log zip file from the admin web ui.

Also, back up the data.  It's best to avoid rebooting the NAS until you've backed up everything.

Thanks Stephen, I am in the proceess of backing up the data but there's a lot of it, it'll take a while.

I've tried to attach the zipped log files but can't upload them - jpg,gif,png,pdf are the valid extensions.

You shouldn't post them publicly.  Instead put them into cloud storage (dropbox, google drive, etc), and send a private message to a Netgear Mod ( JohnCM_S or Marc_V ) with a link, and ask them to analyze them for you.
