Expansion chassis not detecting in ReadyNAS 4312S
Hello, We have a ReadyNAS 4312S with EDA 4000 Expansion chassis. It has 36 slots populated (12 slots in 4312S + 24 disks in Expansion Chassis). 30 * 8TB Disks in RAID6 - /data volume 5 * 14...
There is a script that can be run via SSH that's for this type of issue, but I've not looked at it to see if it'll work right with the EDA attached. So, it is best to wait for one of the Netgear mods to respond and verify it will.

But I agree with Sandshark that it would be best to get some guidance from Marc_V or JohnCM_S before you run it. Another option is to contact Netgear paid support via my.netgear.com.
I just looked at the script and ran the part of it that finds all volumes and shares, and it works on my RD5200 running OS6 with a non-Netgear external; SAS 24 disk array (which doesn't show up in the GUI like your EDA4000 does) and it did find all the shares and volumes, so I think it should work with your set-up just fine, assuming what it fixes is the actual cause of your problem.
One thing you can do first is to check that whether the entries this fixes are actually missing. For volume data, use ls /data/._share -all. If there isn't a listing there for each share on the volume, then that is your problem and the script should fix it.
