FAN Died on Readynas NV RNV1-S2-0000, Can it be replaced?
I have taken Fans from Readynas NV+ which seem to have the same size and specs however it does not work for some reason.
The fan which broke(I assume due to the error messages) is a ADDA DC Bruchless Model AD0812HB-A76GL

They should be interchangeable. If it's not working, then it may be the fan controller in the NAS rather than the fan that's the issue. Did you try swapping the other way around? You could install a fan that has a fixed speed just connected to power, but you'd have to put up with the noise and the error messages about the fan.
