Finding Readynas file structure
Hi! Okay this might be the dumbest question you have seen posted here - be kind not IT background. I am tech savvy but this has me stumped
Okay.... so I have been able to download things using the torrent applications on the NAS (Transmission 2.82). I have set up my Media Server to make it play around the house, but for the life of me cannont access those from the desktop when looking at the NAS. Data/Transmission/Downloads - Media Server can see but \\jp-nas\Transmission\Downloads is empty
If I download something using a desktop to the NAS, I can't see it in the media server even when I point the thing to look at that folder. (Data/Volume1/MyDesktopDownloads)
Also I am now getting an error where I dont have enough space on my NAS in Transmission when I have stacks.
Is there something bleedingly obvious that I am missing here??

IF you use the web admin UI, can you see the contents of the download folder? Did you try resetting the file permissions (on the file access setting page for the share).

You created a Volume1 share? Is your media server using SMB to access the NAS, or is it using something else (like DLNA)?
