HOW DO I DISABLE THE ANTI VIRUS ON THE MODEL RN10400
this is the problem this thing just keep scanning all the time... How do i stop it... can use it to slow ...because of the scanning. NAS RN10400

What firmware are you running? Netgear removed the AntiVirus package for the RN100 series quite a while ago because of performance issues.
You turn it off in System->Settings->Services in the Web Admin UI.

Did a factory reset..
Seems to be working..
