Anti virus disabled after update 6.9.3

Anti Virus (reported internet not available but it was).  Applied update 6.9.3.  Still fails to update.  Turned off Antivirus.  Now  AntiVirus fails to restart. Rebooted NAS. Antivirus still wont start.  Checked APT logs and latest entry showing:

Start-Date: 2018-04-09  22:24:13
Commandline: apt-get -qq install -fy rn-dictionary freeapp-collection readynasos ca-certificates
Upgrade: readynasos:armel (6.9.3, 6.9.3+2), libapache2-mod-csrf:armel (0.9+netgear4, 0.9+netgear5)
End-Date: 2018-04-09  22:24:17

Is there a problem with 6.9.3+2?

    Hi B2squared

    Welcome to the Community!

There are no known issues with the Antivirus on 6.9.3

Is your NAS configured with Static IP? If yes, do you have your DNS properly configured?

You may want to try setting the DNS or changing your NAS to acquire DHCP address.

    Hope this helps!

    Regards

    Hi B2squared

Have you tried updating to ReadyNAS Beta OS 6.9.4? You may want to try updating to this version.

Please make sure NAS can connect on the internet for it to be able to reach the AV update servers

    Regards

    Hi B2squared

Anti-virus should be fine and running by now. Can you check?

    Regards

Hi Marc_V,   Yes, the AV service is reported working again I wont tempt fate by turning it off  and on again just at this juncture! I really appreciate your help and perseverance on the issue, and thanks to those unseen behind you.    For anyone wanting more info, a Factory reset did not restart the anti-virus and it required remote help to go in and get it working again.  Great help from the Community and Marc-V.  .Cheers for now, B2squared
