Thanks Sandshark, I will change my Config Backup to Everything then.
It's been so long since I set-up the Rsync backup that I have forgotten about how I did it. I will have to look-up the command and see how to use it to Restore.
The USB drive was formatted by the NAS I think, as Linux and is connected all the time to the front port of my old NV+, a USB2.0. Once a week I power-up the drive and push the Backup button to launch my backup.
Thanks also for the tip about apps. I have only (I believe) the Soft-Off add-on.
Gonna make myself a checklist, in case the day ever comes I'll need to do this!

Do you ever check the disk(s) to make sure everything is there?
It's also useful to run vendor diags (full read test) from time to time to make sure all the old files can still be read.

I do frequently look at the backup USB drive and all seems well, though have never done a full read test. Some rainy day I will try that.
Would be nice if that were possible from within the RN e.g. from SSH maybe. Dunno.
The drive is only powered-on for the once-a-week backup, then I turn it off again. So at least, it should not be suffering from old age.
