How to use Streaming
Hello all can someone help/explain the Streaming function to me I must be doing something wrong. If I use my phone readycloud app go to Music or Movie and click on a file it asks me to download it......

I use plex myself.
My understanding is that you first select the local network from menu, and that the NAS should then show up at the bottom as a DLNA or UPNP item. You'd then select it.
Okay I reinstalled Plex even paid for subscription. Problem On my TV (LG TV) under IN-puts I see my PC, the NAS, and the PLEX SERVER if I click on my PC and select a file it play same with the NAS, but when I click on Plex server I get No DATA????
does your tv have the plex app?

NOTE: Downloading and installing the Plex application is no longer required for LG Smart TV’s. The LG TV has the MediaLink service which syncs with the Plex Media Server to let you stream media content to your smart TV.I have tried this I click on "MediaLink" it say it can not find and say I need to have Plex installed on my PC and on the same router. at the bottom it say click for devices I click see my NAS click on it and nothing happens.
I guess I an just use my Roku right??????

If you click on the NAS, are you able to play content on the TV?
Do you have the DLNA server enabled in Plex? I'm wondering if the PLEX SERVER you are seeing is the DLNA facility within plex, or if you are actually running a plex client built into the TV.
About how old it the TV? Have you looked for firmware updates for it?
There are a couple of settings you could adjust in the server - make sure that "secure connections" isn't set to required (preferred is fine), and perhaps also make sure the "Disable weak TLS versions" is not checked. Both of those are in the network section - the "Disable weak TLS versions" is an advanced setting. Some old clients need those settings.
