HP Officejet 8500 "network filling" ready NAS Duo problem.
Hello, I got the above OfficeJet 8500, everything ...accept the "network filling" or scanning to the network folder works fine. Every time, I am trying to scan to network folder the printer creates ...

In all of this, no one has stated whether the particular printer is connected via ethernet or wireless to the network. They also do not state whether they have tried to use NAS shares that have been mapped in Windows so use a drive letter rather than the normal network path.
It would be interesting to find more details in this case, but it appears that some with the problem are no longer posting.
I have an Officejet 8500 connected to my router with ethernet cable, and have done scanning with it, but always to the PC next to it. I just find it easier to scan and review on the PC and then move the file to the NAS. Since one member had no problems with a Pro, and I am now on an NVX, I may have to restart my NV+ to attempt to duplicate the problem.
