Install RAIDar on Mac OS Catalina
Hi,
I am trying to recover an old Readynas. But prior to that, I need to install Raidar as you know already (on a Mac OS 10.15.7 Catalina).
So I am downloading the installer dmg from https://kb.netgear.com/20684/ReadyNAS-Downloads . It turns out that I need to install OpenJDK or any JRE in general, from v7. Here comes the problem. I already have a JRE installed!

I have tried other java versions + providers, but it does not change anything. Could you please help me? Thanks.

- robertoloAspirantWell, I just thought that it would be necessary for the initial set up. I will check later today.
By the way, I've tried the same on other not Mac machine and I cannot get rid of that validation error. Does raidar even work at all?- rn_enthusiastVirtuoso
Yea RAIDar is not mandatory and I will be dammed if I ever install Java just for this application :)
