I don't expect much here. Just please include the precompiled ipv6.o in the modules directory for the next RAIDiator release. :D

- chirpaLuminaryNo, earliest would be 4.2.16/17.
- mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredWhen this feature is added one can expect it will be mentioned in the release notes. So keep an eye on the public beta forum: http://readynas.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=51 for beta announcements and on the Announcements forum: http://readynas.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=1 for production releases.

- useopenidAspirantI just got my readnas pro 4, upgraded it to 4.2.17 and happily noted it supported ipv6...until I went to configure NFS access and it promptly told me "Hostname is limited to 24 characters consisting of alpha-numeric, period (.), and dash (-)." Being able to give it an ipv6 address doesn't help much if it won't actually use it...

I just upgraded my new ReadyNAS Ultra 2 to 4.2.18, but there is still no IPv6. Is this limited to the Pro series ? - mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredIPv6 is an optional relatively new feature.
Take a look under Network > Interfaces. For the NIC you use you should see an IP address assigned, and an option IPv6 assignment which is set to "Off" by default.
