iTec- USB3.0-to-LAN-Adapter with Realtek Chipset RTL8153

Hello,
because there is no answer on my german post, i try to ask in english:
Can somebody explain, how i can install these USB-to-LAN-Adapter in my Readynas OS6-System with Kernel 3.0.101 ?
I want to use the Realtek-one, because the integrated Marvell-NICs don't work faultless in my VDR-Server.
Thanks a lot for every help.

  • Hello mdgm,
"not supported" by the NAS or by the Support-Team? Because there is a category ("USB-Adapters") under "Network-Drivers" in the kernel-config-file where some older adapters are listed and availabled.

There may be a way to use SSH to make use of them, but that's not something we support.
  • Ok, i understand. Thanks for your answer. I'll continue searching and trying.
