Just encounted the very much earlier comments about this. By accident found positive views about this memory module (well before I found this info) - so installed on NAS Duo 2 x Tbye RAID 4.1.7 setup - has functioned perfectly from the off - now been running continuously for 5 months. Don't know the cause of the problem with higher spec NASs.
