Looking for GIT to install on ReadyNAS
Hi All,
I'm making the leap from centralised to distributed revision control and am wanting to install GIT on my readyNAS Pro (at home) and ReadyNAS 316 (at work).
Has anyone seen a git add-on for the ReadyNAS ? There is a dead link for a git add-on on RNExtras but it is only for OS4 and .... well .... is a dead link :-(
Trying to resist going subversion :-/
Any Assistance humbly sought.
Regards,
Mark

- dsm1212ApprenticeOn OS6 it's just:
apt-get install git
I think when I was running OS4 the apt-get available version of git was ancient, but I just downloaded the git source and built it.
steve - shoeminatorAspirantjust to clarify .... running that from SSH Shell ?
If so I will be one HAPPY camper :-)
(apparently I was overthinking things again :-( ) - dsm1212ApprenticeRight on os6, log in as root via ssh and just run "apt-get install git".
