mdadm: command not found
My ReadyNAS 628x had 7 drives, I added another to have 4X12 TB and 4X16TB. It now has a raid5 and raid6. I'm trying to use the method I used the last time which requires logging into the shell with puTTy and calling
mdadm --grow /dev/md127 --level=5 --raid-devices=8 --force --verbose
But I'm getting
-bash: mdadm: command not found
What's going on?
OK, I was logged in as admin. I logged out and relogged in as root with the admin password. mdadm worked then. It's converting now.
