Memory stick for a ReadyNAS X6
Hi,
I'm trying to find a memory for my ReadyNAS X6 Rev B. I suspect mine has fried according to the light blinking pattern.
Searching this forum for X6 yields no results. Anyone could direct me to a memory brand/model number that works with the ReadyNAS X6?
Best regards. -Patrice

- mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredGet memory with as close to the same specs as the dead memory as possible. Needs same physical layout. Make sure the memory is at least 256MB RAM
Run the memory test at least a few times before trusting the memory. Note even if memory passes the memory test it might not be compatible. - patrice_readynaAspirantThanks.
I got memory with the same specs, probably with a different layout.
When researching on the forums, would anyone know which machine is compatible with the x6? I can't find any info on about the x6. - mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredThe Infrant ReadyNAS X6 is one of the early Sparc ReadyNAS models.
What do you mean by "which machine is compatible with the x6?" Do you mean which machine you can move your disks across to from the x6? Or something else?
