Memory Upgrade ReadyNas DUO V1
I have decided to extend the life of my ReadyNAS duo as it hasn't let me down. I decided to purchase 1GB of RAM. Based on what i read on here i have bought the Corsair VS1GSDS333 chip. I couldn't find much documentation on upgrading the ReadyNas Duo so i just stuck it in and booted up the NAS. At first the Blue light flashed then went on solid, no other lights showed. I left it for a good 2 hours but it never booted, i could not see the NAS on the network. I pulled the power and did the memory test. I ran this twice and passed (http://www.readynas.com/kb/faq/hardware/is_there_a_way_i_can_verify_if_my_memory_is_good). However i can not get the NAS to boot. Am i doing something wrong here?

Does it boot if you restore the stock memory?
v1's are very fussy on memory timing - https://community.netgear.com/t5/ReadyNAS-Hardware-Compatibility/Duo-V1-Memory-Upgrade-Recommended-module-at-this-time/td-p/850459
- guppy02GuideFinally managed to get it to boot. I put the old RAM back in and it booted, put the new RAM back in booted again same issue happen. However for what ever reason it worked when i booted back up the 2nd time!
