Migration from older to new ReadyNAS

Hi All!
Yes, both RND4000 uses X-RAID, with 4 pcs WD 2.0TB Green HDDs, similar HDDs.
The good unit has RAIDiator v4.1.9.
My defected unit has RAIDiator 4.1.10 or 11, I don't remember exactly, but it has one or two steps newer version.
I just turned ON the unit without disks, of course does not start, it wants disk.
That says to me, the "OS" loads from the disks, not stored in unit's internal memory/eprom/storage, if this kind exists.
Therefore I really hope I can simply put my HDDs, load up the RAIDiator v4.1.1x, and I can backup all of my datas. :)
