My Ready NAS Duo will not go into the reset mode.
I have followed the instructions and the NAS RND2110-100NAS will not go into the Boot menu. All I get is the power button light flashing. Do I have a bad board, or it it operator error? I have tried...

Hi WesleyB,
Welcome to the community!
Did you try this procedure with hard drive/s installed? If yes, how many? I also suggest that you put healthy or fresh hard drive/s that is listed in our HCL.
Kind regards,

I'm having a similar issue. I had to run a reset since the unit is non-responsive. I've tried reseating the memory.
Now after trying to reset I get the disk 1 LED flashing twice slowly, then the power, ACT and disk 1 LED all flashing together three times quickly. Then repeat.
I've tried resettting but no go.
Any ideas?

Hi Starlionblue3,
Can you check if you're using a V1 or V2 unit? Kindly check this page for more information.

NETGEAR Community TeamThe bottom says RND2000 v2 but the back looks like a V1. It has the smaller fan.
Update: I reseated the memory for the nth time and now it takes the reset, as in I don't get the triple flash. It did the first flash after 5 and second flash after 25. However now it has been sitting for hours with pulsing blue. Is this the disk check?

Hi Starlionblue3,
Thank for providing the info that I asked for. Could you run the RAIDar utility to see what the device does? If this sits for more than 30mins or an hour, I suggest that you try another hard disk (a fresh one) and do the same reset procedure.
Kind regards,
BrianL
