NETGEAR ReadyNAS 3138 storage limits

I'm looking to upgrade disk storage on NETGEAR ReadyNAS 3138. There are currenly 2 x8TB drives and I was looking to add two 14TB drives. I read somewhere that there's no hard limit for drive size but want to make sure it will work as the online calculator shows only 12TB as the largest option.

There is no known limit , and Netgear's HCL shows 16 TB disks for the RN3138.  So you should be fine.

If you are using XRAID, this will expand your volume from 8 TB (~7.27 TiB) to 30 TB (~27.28 TiB).
