Network Access
I was able to access my RN314 ReadyNAS via any network computer but now get a message in Windows 11 "Path not found" how do I fix this?

Did you just update Windows 11 to 24H2?
That shouldn't create any issues with an RN314

My own PC is fine, I can access the shared folders and connect to the NAS through the UI.
But other PC's on the network can not, what I did this morning was go to start/run and type in the NAS IP address \\192.168.1.6 then enter and the hard drives starts spinning up and I get this error message

Go into the Windows Credential Manager and see if there is a NAS username/password for 192.168.1.6. If there isn't, then add it.
Also, go into the SMB settings on the NAS, and make sure that "SMB 3 Transport Encryption" is set to "Enabled". ("Required" will also work, but some older devices might fail if you use "Required").
Depending your NAS setup, that setting might be in system->settings->services->SMB. Or it might be on the Advanced SMB settings for each share.

Interesting, I changed the settings in SMB and enabled globally, No Go.
I then added to Windows Credential's "192.168.1.6" with Admin and password, No Go.
I then added to Windows Credential's "RN-314" with Admin and password and I can now gain access.
I use to be able to access the NAS without prompts, then something changed and it prompted me to enter Username and password and saved them to the Windows Credential's Manager and now a blanket error.
I installed Windows 7 on a test machine and it just worked, good old Windows 7!!
Thanks

The Windows Credential Manager treats the IP address and the host name as two different machines.
There are some risks with using NAS admin credentials. One aspect is that it can create some confusion, since you see multiple paths to the same folder (data\sharename and sharename, \data\home and home, etc).
