I have just bought a new computer - what is the easiest way to transfer the data from my Ready NAS 102 to the new hard drive? I can find the shares with the data on it, I'm just not sure how to move ...

Drag and Drop is of course one way, and is generally what I do.
If you have a lot of files to migrate, you could also use a tool intended for bulk file transfers. FreeFileSync and TeraCopy are two of several possibilities.
