NIC getting disabled after running for sometime on ReadyNAS 214
NIC on my NAS getting disabled automatically and I cannot re-enable it back. I had this issue before and raised tickets with Netgear but they did not respond properly and I gave up and now again...

Is it happening as well on the other NIC? I think the issue was because of the NIC getting hot if I remember it correctly.
Would be best if you can send your logs thru PM so we can check but this should have been resolved.

Sent you the logs in PM.
Issue is not there with eth1. Its only eth0 and its completely greyed out.
I removed the power cable for NAS, to see if that fixes the issue. Will wait for a day to start again.
I had this issue last year, but did not see it again until yesterday.
Thanks

I reverted firmware to 6.10.1, tried 6.10.3 and 4 but none did not make any difference.. Probably a day of powerdown will help.
Main issue is that I cannot shutdown the NAS.. and it just throws the do_exit+4d8 error.
I already tried unchecking and checking Wake on LAN as mentioned last time.. as well..

Ok..1st Nic is now accessible after powering down for couple of days..
Is this hardware or software issue ??? Do we have any fix or we have to live with this.
Netgear support did not respond when I raised this during warranty.. is there anything I can raise it back to support with old case no's ?
