Hello punisher1991,
Welcome to the community!
I have few questions to ask:
- Do you still have access to the NAS' shares after removing the failed disk?
- How many disks are inserted?
- Do you have full backup of the files?
- What's the RAID level?

Hi punisher1991,
This is normal if the volume RAID used is 0. Try first to scan the failed drive using the manufacturer's diagnostic tool to see if its still clonable. Lastly, I strongly suggest that you continue to work with our support team in trying to recover your data, but expect that there'll be a fee.
Kind regards,

hello brian i've already checked the drive and it was deemed as faulty
and the data isn't that important but what is important is getting this nas server working once againas when i try to reinstall the os it just hangs on installing addons and thats as far as its gets
if i factory reinstall with all drives in ( 4 of WD Red 2Tb's ) it takes a while ( 18hours or more ) it does work but i cant gain access via webpanel

Hello punisher1991,
You mentioned it does work when you factory reinstall with all the drives but you are not able to access the admin page. Are you referring to the access of the shares when you say it does work?
If you are able to access the shares and just not able to access the admin page, have you tried other web browsers? Or another computer?
May we ask for the current firmware version of the NAS too?
Regards,
