Odd disk space behaviour
I have a ReadyNAS Duo, with two drives of 500GB each. Frontview tells me they are 88% full (407GB), but as far as I can see the files on the drives take up no more than about 200GB. The second dri...
FYI, I have a DUO as well (2x 1.5TB), and I have also a lot of incoherency:
- the frontview pretends I'm using 1395GB of the 1395GB
- appleShare protocol says I'm using 886GB on the 1.49TB
- df on the server shows a single /dev/hdc1 where 1.5GB are used on the 1.9GB available
From what I see, I have no trouble using the NAS for what it is supposed to be made for. But I feel rather insecure with those kind of unaccurate information.
