Power down or freeze only on weekends???

We do have a backup, this nas is just a way to keep extra traffic off of the internet. It syncs with egnyte cloud, which houses the exact same data. The most we would lose is a few hours from this local drive if it failed.
The drive itself was ordered with WD Greens. I was actually curious about that as well. I started working for this company a little over a year ago. Never in a production environment have I seen standard non enterprise drives. Anyway. I will be replacing disk 2 for certain and will take a look at the smart log. I looked at it a bit. I noticed pre-fail in a few spots. I thought that was due to disk 2 which is the only warning I have gotten from the nas since setting up email reports.
