You are correct about those load cycles being huge, in fact they are twice what the WD greens are rated for (300,000) I believe that green drives unload heads often to save power. Which might be why that is so high. I probably should change the WDIDLE timeout.
I will replace those drives after going through the smart data and also update the firmware.
