printerqueue's name
When I attach a printer (for the first time ) to the nas automatically a queue appears in the printers menu. Everything works as expected... Now I replace this printer by another one of the same ma...
I think I have found the solution:
there is a file:/etc/frontview/usb/printers.conf
iP3600_series11A05D!!iP3600_serie!!Canon iP3600 series
iP3600_series109248!!iP3600_ser_1!!Canon iP3600 series
This file contains the printer names, some serial number of the two printers and the queues names they are given.
So when you change a printer by an identical one and you want to give that the same (old) queue name, you first must delete this file. (or edit it)
I am sure this will solve my problem.
So sometimes stating your problem in a forum helps you to solve your problem (yourself) !!
