Pro Pioneer 6 lockup
I have had a Pro 6 since it came out. It has been upgraded to 6.10.3 and has been working flawlessly. Recently, it has been locking up on ocasion. When this occurs, I am not able to ping it, let a...

If you still only have the original 1GB of RAM, the time has come to upgrade. We are seeing many similar situations here, so it seems that the INnel variety of OS6 has reached the 1GB threshold. With the minimum RAM in native OS6 Intel systems being 2TB, Netgear didn't think it mattered and didn't let anyone know,

PC2-6400 is the fastest the motheboard can go (though faster capable RAM will work at the lower speed), even with a processor upgrade. I try to find some with lower CAS latency (CL5), and have used both ADATA and OCZ. People swear about Patriot, but it's higher priced and not spec'ed any better. If you aren't upgrading the processor, then the low CAS latency won't make a difference and you can stick with PC2-5400.

Will this work?
It's known to work in the Ultra (different chipset than the Pro and Ultra Plus). https://community.netgear.com/t5/New-ReadyNAS-Users-General/Ultra-6-Memory-Upgrade-Verification/m-p/1126160#M20493
So I think it will work, but it would be good if Sandshark weighs in.
You can get 2x2GB directly from Crucial for slightly less: https://www.crucial.com/memory/ddr2/ct2kit25664aa800
