    There should be a settings wheel next to the volume/drive on the system->overview page on the web ui, that has an "eject" control.

     

    I'm not sure if you actually have a rack-mount RN2120 (many RN212 owners will select that by mistake).  The RN212 has a backup button on the front panel.  If you press that for 10 seconds and let go, the USB drive should also be ejected (personally I'd hold it for a bit longer, just to be sure).  The RN2120 doesn't have a backup button, so that method doesn't apply to that model.
