Quotas turn off on their own.

I'm having some trouble with quotas turning off on their own every once in a while. I suspect it is upon reboot, but I'm not positive. I use this feature to check the size of the shares; not necissarily to limit the size of a share.

I didn't see any topics about this, but I don't have much luck with the search on this site. The only things I saw were from back in the 6.4 days.

Anyone else seeing this behavior?

FWIW, I am not seeing it.  I just checked my RN524 (which is on a power schedule), and volume quota is enabled on it.  I'm running 6.10.3

Thanks for checking Stephen. I'm thinking it must be something with my unit then. Perhaps it's because I don't have actually have any quotas enabled. Either way, I've got a step forward to investigate.

I don't either, so that shouldn't be a factor.  I keep volume quota on, so I can see the details of disk usage for each share on the share page.

You might want to download the full log zip file, and ask the mods to analyze it for you.  Don't post it here though, as there is some privacy leakage.

Instead, send the mods ( JohnCM_S or Marc_V ) a private message (PM) via the envelope icon on the upper right of the forum page.  Upload the zip file to cloud storage (google drive, dropbox, etc), and include a download link in the PM.  Also include a link to this forum thread.  If you do get it sorted out, please post back!
