RAM Upgrade, Fan replacement, UPS, RNDU4000
I want to upgrade my RAM in my RNDU4000. Comes with 1GB. What is the maximum for RNDU4000? Is it one or two modules? Ive read that the maximum is 4GB for this unit. Is that correct? 1x4GB, 2x2GB? ...

Ok, what model are you using? How have you it setup for the NAS?

The RAM also needs to be 2Rx8 ("low density"), not 2Rx4 ("high density", sometimes labeled "AMD only"). Lower cost 4GB modules are going to be 2Rx4.
The UPS I have on my remote NAS is an AMD 500VA one. It's an older model no longer available, but any current one with a USB port (which, I think, they all do) should work. Even a 350VA one would probably provide several minutes for a 4-bay NAS.

Ive found a replacement fan and RAM.
Noctua NF-A9 FLX and G.Skill F2-5300CL5S-4GBSQ or G.Skill F2-6400CL6S-4GBSQ
Could not get any other memory modules.. not in stock or not available anymore. Not manufactured.
As for UPS i will have to think about.- SandsharkSep 11, 2020Sensei - Experienced User
I've found eBay to be a good source of RAM for older NAS. You can find both used and new.

Those old SO-DIMM DDR2 RAM are really expensive. The DDR3 and DDR4 are really inexpensive and can be found litterly everywere.
