HP Officejet 8500 "network filling" ready NAS Duo problem.
Hello, I got the above OfficeJet 8500, everything ...accept the "network filling" or scanning to the network folder works fine. Every time, I am trying to scan to network folder the printer creates ...
Just finished reading this thread and as another HP 8500 Pro user, I too am disappointed it doesn't work on my ReadyNAS NV+. I have the exact same issue. Hopefully it will be looked at for the next firmware upgrade because as you indicated, this is a becoming a very popular device.
My current "workaround" for network scanning and faxing from the device is to use the shared folder on one of my networked PCs, but of course that means I have to have another system running.
